Ann B. (Asch) Matteoda

Ann B. (Asch) Matteoda, 83, of Exeter Twp., Birdsboro, PA passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in her home. Born in South River, NJ, she was raised by her late Aunt Bertha and Uncle Mike. She was the widow of Francis Matteoda, who passed in 2022.

Ann worked most of her life as a Purchasing Officer for the Veteran’s Administration. Ann loved all animals and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Frieden’s Bible Chapel in Robeson Twp., PA where she played an important role in their Card Ministry and Bible Studies.

Surviving Ann are: 2 daughters: Debbie Matteoda of New Holland, PA and Elizabeth McMullen, wife of Frank of Birdsboro, PA; 2 step-sons: Christopher Matteoda, husband of Jackie of Coatesville, PA and Mark Matteoda of Mohnton, PA; 10 grandchildren: Melanie, Tiffanie, Stefanie, Richard, Valerie, Cortney, Christine, Melissa, Crystal, and Drea; and 9 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son: Robert Harring; and siblings: Johnny, Claire, and Goldie.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC., 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 11:00AM. A viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00AM – 11:00AM prior to the service. Burial will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frieden’s Bible Chapel, 1260 White Bear Rd. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
