Anna Marie (Walkowiak) Foraker

Anna Marie (Walkowiak) Foraker, 91, of Norristown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Willow Brook Rehab in Kutztown, PA. Born in Swedesburg, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley and Margaret (Barezak) Walkowiak. She was the devoted wife of the late Michael J. Foraker, Sr., who passed away in 2016.

Anna Marie dedicated most of her life to raising her family and caring for her home. Prior to having children, she worked at Allenwood Steel. She was affectionately known as the “Marigold Lady” and was even featured in her local newspaper for her beautiful and vibrant flower beds.

She cherished summers spent with her family in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, where she enjoyed fishing and crabbing. Anna Marie loved thrifting, visiting flea markets, and hunting for blue light specials at Kmart. She had a deep love for animals and could often be found chatting on the phone for hours. She also enjoyed her favorite treats, including Tastykakes and ice cream. Each summer, she looked forward to attending the Polish Feast to celebrate her heritage.

Anna Marie is survived by her loving son, Michael J. Foraker, Jr., fiancé of Dana Nasados; her daughter, Michelle A. Craft, wife of James D. Craft, III; and her three cherished grandchildren, Jimmy, Julia, and Joanna Craft.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings: Stanley Walkowiak, Helen Martin, Martha Ruttman, and Robert Walkowiak.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC, 144 N. Spruce St., Birdsboro, PA 19508. Burial will immediately follow at Immaculate Conception BVMRC Cemetery.
