Arlene L. Hiltebeitel

Arlene L. (Richards) Hiltebeitel, 89, of Douglassville, Amity Twp., PA passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 in the comfort of her home. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late William F. Richards, Sr. and the late Mary Ellen (Sperow) Richards. She was the widow of Paul Hiltebeitel.

Arlene was a clerk and mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Douglassville, PA. She graduated from North Coventry HS, Class of 1954. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, trips to the mountains, and cruises. Arlene was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Douglassville, PA.

Arlene is survived by her son: Richard Davidheiser, companion of Bonnie Frederick of Boyertown, PA; 2 daughters: Marianne Graefe, wife of Guy of Douglassville, PA and Susan Nester, wife of Michael of Boyertown, PA; 1 step-daughter: Shirley Parke-Tease; 1 brother: Donald Richards of Pottstown, PA; 5 granddaughters: Aja Sullivan, Dena Gephart, wife of Tim, Jessie Shappel, wife of Ty, Amanda Dibler, wife of Jason, Emily Hallinger, wife of Steve; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brothers: William and Douglas Richards and sister: Edith Eck.

A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Rd. Douglassville, PA 19518. A visitation will be from 9:30am-11:00am at the church, prior to the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at the above address.
