Barbara A. (Focht) Bortz

Barbara Ann (Focht) Bortz, 85, of Exeter Twp., PA, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, in the comfort of her home. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of late Charles A. and the late Marie (Gisell) Focht. She was the widow of Kenneth L. Bortz, who passed in 2013.

Barbara spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of the home and raising her family. She was a Charter Member of the Exeter Township Ambulance Association.

Barbara is survived by sons: Keith A. Bortz, husband of Ann of Exeter Twp., PA and Brian J. Bortz, husband of Marci of Birdsboro, PA; sister: Candace Zieber of Birdsboro, PA; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother: Charles A. Focht and sister: Doris Weaver.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
