Betty R. (Boulden) Peiffer

Betty R. (Boulden) Peiffer, 90, formerly of Seyfert. PA passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Columbia Cottages in Wyomissing. She was born in Quakertown, PA, the daughter of the late Samuel N. Boulden and the late Alverda (Wolfe) Oppelt. She was the widow of Jack L. Peiffer.

Betty was the former owner along with Jack, who operated Whitey’s Floor Coverings in Reading, PA. She later worked in sales for Berks Flooring. Betty loved baseball and watching the Phillies, along with soap operas daily on the TV. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Gibraltar, PA.

Surviving Betty is her daughter: Marcia K. Schillermann, wife of David of Robeson Twp., PA; son: Jeffrey L. Peiffer, husband of Kimberley of Robeson Twp., PA; daughter-in-law: Bobbie Jo Peiffer, widow of Larry C. Peiffer, Sr.;9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother: Rayford Boulden and sister: Judy Shorter, and half-brother: Gene Oppelt.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 2:00PM at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC., 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
