Betty M. (Ladner) Dilliplaine

Betty M. (Ladner) Dilliplaine, 86, of Exeter Twp., PA passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in the comfort of her daughter’s home. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late R. Frey and the late Hannah (Vanderslice) Ladner. She was the widow of James F. Dilliplaine.

Betty spent most of her life assisting her husband to oversee and run the family business- Dilliplaine Floor Covering. She then worked part-time as a Walmart associate before retiring. She was a very active member and adored her church, St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Douglassville, PA. Betty loved gardening and tending to her flowers. She also liked crafts and puzzles.

Betty is survived by her daughters: Diana Caldwell, wife of Robert H. Caldwell, Jr. of Exeter Twp., PA, Dawn Nettles of Exeter Twp., PA; son: David Dilliplaine, husband of Kelly of Union Twp., PA; brother: Roger Ladner of Downingtown, PA; sisters: Hazel Stuart of Boyertown, PA, Rebecca Painter of AZ; 3 grandchildren: Bobby, Dena, and Nick; 6 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter: Amanda Caldwell.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church 1188 Ben Franklin Hwy East, Douglassville, PA 19518. A visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berks Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
