Blaine R. Weaver

Blaine R. Weaver, 96, of Union Twp., PA passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Keystone Villa at Douglassville, where he resided for the past 5 years. Born in Exeter Twp., PA, he was the son of the late Titus and the late Florence (Foreman) Weaver. He was the widower of Joan Ann (Myers) Weaver who passed in 1999.

Blaine played basketball and graduated from Birdsboro High School, Class of 1948. After high school he played for the Birdsboro Sportsmen’s Club in a county rec basketball league. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Blaine worked for and retired from Conestoga Telephone & Telegraph Co. in 1993 after 36 years.

Blaine enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at Scott’s Run Lake. He was a member of the South Birdsboro Archery, Rod & Gun Club and the Birdsboro Sportsmen’s Club.

Blaine is survived by his 3 grandchildren: Dina Khateeb, Nadine Schaeffer, wife of Shane, and Saeed Khateeb; 3 great grandchildren: Hudson Khateeb, Jaxon and Jacob Schaeffer; and sister-in-law: Suzanne Weaver.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Debra W. Khateeb and his brother: Marvin Weaver.

Burial will be private in Birdsboro Cemetery.
