Brian S. Hummel

Brian S. Hummel, 86, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Complete Care at Berkshire. Born in Jacksonwald, PA, he was the son of the late Monroe G. and the late Evelyn M. (Strunk) Hummel. He was the husband of Ruth Ann (Gerhart) Hummel.

Brian served our country in the U.S. Army. He was co-owner with his wife, Ruth Ann, of Hummel’s Dry Cleaning in Birdsboro. They ran their family business in Birdsboro until retirement. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, basketball, and playing in various Pool Leagues. He was a member of the American Legion Post 626, Birdsboro Sportsmen’s Club, and Birdsboro Fire Co.

Surviving Brian, along with his wife, are his daughter: Beth Ann Nazaryk; brother: Neil Hummel; and grandson: Conner Nazaryk.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter: Caitlin Ann Nazaryk; and brother: David Hummel.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Birdsboro Community Memorial Center, 201 E. Main St. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
