Connie E. (Taylor) Hoffman

Connie E. (Taylor) Hoffman, 72, of Exeter Twp., PA, passed away on August 20, 2026 at home on hospice care, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norristown, PA she was the daughter of the late John C. Taylor, Jr. and the late Florence (Gorman) Taylor. She was the widow of Edward “Skeeter” Hoffman, who passed in 2023.

Connie worked as a Secretary for the Superintendent’s Office in the Daniel Boone School District and very much enjoyed her retirement job at TJ Maxx. The best job she had was being a great mother and grandmother. Connie was a purveyor of tough and unwavering love and a mother to not only her children but the many friends that visited following her open door and open cupboard policy. Forever the prophetic manager of turmoil, she did so with a smile and some hilarious words of wisdom and encouragement. She enjoyed crafting, shopping, and cherishing her time with family and her grandchildren. Also the occasional wild child, manager of the home and hilarious chaos she was an attendee of Woodstock 1969 and also never missed a baseball game or school event. And she made the best Iced Tea in a 100 mile radius. She was predictably, unpredictable, but always authentic.

Connie is survived by her son: Shawn E. Hoffman; daughter: Amber T. Dempsey; sister: Diane Ott; and 2 grandchildren: Natalie and Hudson.

She was predeceased by her 3 brothers: Jack, Dwayne and Rick Taylor; and her sister: Jennifer Taylor.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Meraki Manor on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 4pm - 7pm
