David B. Fort

David B. Fort, 87, of Elverson, PA, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Reading Hospital. Born in Audubon, PA, he was the son of the late John D. and the late Marion B. (Drake) Fort.

David worked as an engineer and in sales for many years. He enjoyed fishing, eating seafood, and was an avid cyclist.

David is survived by his son: Scott Fort, husband of Susan Lauretano; daughter: Vicki Ball, widow of Gregory; sister: Doris Swanson; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his 7 siblings: (Peggy) Sarah Tressa, Charles Monroe, Robert Lee, Marion Alberta, Mary Elizabeth, Ralph Eugene, Florence Rea.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
