Diane (Boland) Schlitzer

Diane (Boland) Schlitzer, 66, of Mohnton, PA passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in the comfort of her home. Born in Center Square, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Rita M. (Walsh) Boland. She was the wife of John F. Schlitzer.

Diane graduated from Wissahickon High School. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, raising her family. She also worked as a Travel Agent for Rosenbluth Travel and worked in accounting for UGI.

Diane loved spending time in the mountains and the beach at her homes in Sullivan County and Chincoteague Island. She was a member of the Church of St. Benedict in Robeson Twp., Sleepy Hollow AC, and Kenhorst Fire Co.

Surviving Diane, along with her husband, John, are her daughters: Mary Beth Nocera, wife of Jesse, Melissa Schmidt, wife of Adam, Amie DeSolis, wife of Greg; and her 6 grandchildren: Coleman and Caleb Nocera, Brooks and Ava Schmidt, and Ellie and Layla DeSolis.

She was predeceased by her brothers: Kevin and Michael Boland and sister: Rita Hiltner.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 8th from 12-4pm at Gouglersville Fire Company, 475 Mohns Hill Rd, Reading, PA 19608. We welcome all friends and family of Diane to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society In Memory of Diane.
