Donald "Louie" Krause

Donald “Louie” Krause, 82, of Douglassville, PA passed away on September 16, 2026 at Amity Place. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Leon and the late Annie (May) Krause. He was the widower of Sandra K. (Beidler) Krause who passed in 2014.

Louie worked for 30yrs. as a Machinist for Dana Corporation in Pottstown. He loved sports, especially Penn State. Louie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, model trains, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Louie is survived by his son: Brett A. Krause, husband of Beth (Dawson); brother: Bill Krause, husband of Sue; and 2 grandchildren: Logan and Marin Krause.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Tracy Krause; 5 brothers, and 1 sister.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 11:00am at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am on Monday prior to the service.
