Donald A. Wasson

Donald A. Wasson, 68, of Douglassville, Union Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026. He had fought a long hard battle with ALS. Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Edward T. and the late Mary Jane (Conrad) Wasson. He was the loving husband of Janice M. (Berger) Wasson.

Donald worked and retired from East Penn Manufacturing as a Grid Caster. In his free time, he enjoyed working on his cars, especially his ’72 Dodge Challenger. He also dedicated his time to taking care of his property. Most notably, he was known for his tremendous Christmas lights display in Union Twp.

In addition to his wife, Janice, Donald is survived by his son: Daniel J. Wasson; brother: Daniel E. Wasson; and 2 grandchildren: Jeremy and Kevin Wasson.

He was predeceased by his son: Jeffrey A. Wasson and brother: David A. Wasson.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 9:00am-10:45am at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A time of sharing memories will begin at 10:45am.
