Doris G. (Rea) Clouser

Doris G. (Rea) Clouser, 97, of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, comfortably in her home. Born in Birdsboro, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward and the late Margaret A. (Clark) Rea. She was the widow of Franklin I. Clouser who passed in 2018.

Doris graduated from Birdsboro High School, Class of 1946. She worked in retail for many years with different companies like Card O’ Rama and Tracey’s. She enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her son: David L. Steinmetz; daughter: Kathy A. Weller, wife of Paul R.; 2 grandchildren: Scott Weller, husband of Tanya and Jenna Lee, wife of Jamieson; and 6 great grandchildren: Carson, Juliana, Frankie, Caleb, Nora, and Gracelynn.

She was predeceased by 2 sisters: Janet Rimby and Marcella Eisenbise.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 11:30AM. A viewing will be held from 10:00AM-11:30AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
