Dorothy A. (Dunlap) Hine

Dorothy A. (Dunlap) Hine, 92, of Elverson, PA, passed away on August 21, 2026 at the Pottstown Hospital. Born in Coventryville, PA she was the daughter of the late Addie (Gloss) Ware. She was the widow of John Franklin Hine.

Dorothy spent most of her life as a homemaker, taking care of and raising her family. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Dorothy is survived by her son: John Edward Hine; 2 daughters: Deborah L. Freese, wife of Daniel and Katherine L. Hine; brother: Harry Dunlap; step-brother: Effie Wade; 2 grandchildren: Crystal and Kari; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister: Rose Fizz; brother: Jim Dunlap; and step-sister: Anna.

Services will be scheduled at a later date.
