Edward J. Sweeney

Edward J. Sweeney, 74, of South 19th St., Reading, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and the late Gertrude (Becker) Sweeney.

Edward worked for over three decades as a Land Surveyor at Ludgate Engineering. He could often be found reading a Tom Clancy novel, playing his guitar, or hiking. Most of the time you’d find him bowling or just hanging out at Bowl Grille or Klingers. Whatever he was doing he was sure to be having fun! He is survived by all of his friends and neighbors.
