Eileen D. Filachek

Eileen D. Filachek, 63, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Karl L. Filachek and the late Colleen S. (Covey) Filachek.

Eileen worked most of her life in medical records for PENN Medicine. She was also trained as an EMT as a first responder. Eileen loved everything Disney. She was an avid reader and had a great talent for cross stitch and embroidery. Eileen was a member of Immaculate Conception BVM RC Church and the Anvil Art Club.

Eileen is survived by her sister: Khris L. Butt, wife of Thomas; 2 nieces: Kimberly Kaelin and Jillian Palmer; and nephew: Matthew Butt.

She was predeceased by her mother: sister: Colleen M. Hess.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception BVM RCC, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville, PA 19518. A visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the church, prior to mass. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
