Florence I. (Keller) Berkley

Florence I. (Keller) Berkley, 98, formerly of Union Township, PA passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the Mifflin Center. Born in Jacksonwald, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and the late Irene (Kepple) Keller. She was the widow of Lester E. Berkley, who passed in 2008.

Florence spent most of her life taking care of her home and raising her family. She was a member of the Ladies Aux. of the Birdsboro VFW Post 411.

Surviving Florence is her daughter: Tina L. Glassmoyer, fiancé of Jose Faria; brother: Theodore Keller; 2 sisters: Lillian Jones, wife of Vernon and Kathryn Shirey, wife of Paul; and her granddaughter: Janine Glassmoyer.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Leroy Keller, Jr., Percival Keller, Virginia Barrell, Josephine Stover, and Fern Schmale.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 1:00pm at Birdsboro Cemetery, 1018 E. Main St. Birdsboro, PA 19508.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berks Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd. Birdsboro, PA 19508 or the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N. 11th St. Reading, PA 19604 or the American Cancer Society online at American Cancer Society.
