Frank "Jerry" J. Guest

The beloved Frank “Jerry” Jones Guest (96) passed away on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at Pottstown Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Frank was born in East Nantmeal Township in Glenmore, to the late William and Ruth (Mourar) Guest. He graduated from Warwick High School, Class of 1946 where he met his late wife of 56 years, Thelma Irene (McCulley) Guest.

Frank served during the Korean War on the USS Coral Sea, working in the engine room, then working as an auto mechanic in Pottstown, made tires with Firestone, and later retired with Occidental Petroleum. He loved spending time at the South End Gun Club, previously serving on the board, shooting trap with the Amateur Trapshooting Association, and spending time with his family. He was one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all of those who love him.

Frank is survived by his children, Rod Guest(husband of Jayne Guest), Daniel Guest(husband of Beverly Guest), Melanie Mauger(wife of Jim Mauger), and Mary Kay Aungst (wife of Joel Aungst). As well as his 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by two brothers, Price Guest and William Guest Jr., and three sisters, Ada White, Arlene Newett, and Ruth Garvine.

The celebration of life for Frank is being held at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC., 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA on Monday, June 30th. We invite relatives and friends to visit with the family starting at 11:00 AM, with the service to follow at 12:00 PM noon EST. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
