Gerald B. Rissmiller, 84, of West Nantmeal Twp., PA passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing & Rehab. Center. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Vernie and Beatrice (Becker) Rissmiller. He was the loving husband of Doris Jean (Grubb) Rissmiller.
Gerald worked most of his life as a tow motor driver for Graco Children’s Products. He was a member of the Keystone Carnival Club and enjoyed his ’65 Chevy, classic car shows, and watching the Phillies. He attended Hopewell Church in Elverson, PA.
Surviving Gerald, along with his wife, Doris, is his daughter: Sheri Rice, wife of Mike of Blandon, PA; step-son: Ron Beebe of Elverson, PA; step-daughter: Jennifer DiArcangelo, wife of Bruce of Honey Brook, PA; sister: Nancy Wise of Reading, PA; granddaughter: Heidi Schroder; great grandson: Layne Schroder; and 3 step-grandchildren: Michael and Sophia DiArcangelo and Evan Beebe.
He was predeceased by his son: Greg Rissmiller; brother: Vernie Rissmiller, Jr.; and sisters: Ethel, Margie, June, and Fern.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held from 12:30PM-1:00PM prior to the service
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross online at www.redcross.org/donate.
The family would like to thank Zerbe Sisters Nursing and Rehab. Center for all the compassionate care that Gerald received.
