Guy A. Hodges, Sr.

Guy A. Hodges, Sr., 71, of Birdsboro, Exeter Twp., PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family and his dog, Bubby. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of the late Loyd J. Hodges and the late Tamsey E. (Maute) Alting. He was the husband of Wendy S. (Long) Hodges.

Guy had a passion for driving truck. It led to a lifelong career as a truck driver before retirement, working for Koons Steel and Waste Management. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and motorcycles. He also had a mini farm where he took care of all different kinds of animals and livestock.

Guy is survived by his 3 sons: Guy A. Hodges, Jr. husband of Sarah; Warren J. Hodges, significant other, Jen Hyres, Joseph J. Hodges; daughter: Danna M. Yerkes, wife of David; 3 sisters: Janice Mohn, Wendy Johnson, Greta Slough; grandchildren: Guy, III, Syndell, Joseph, Jacey, and Grant.

He was predeceased by 3 brothers: David Clifford, James Hodges, and Lloyd Hodges.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
