Josephine (Lausch) Moore

Josephine (Lausch) Moore, 90, of Brecknock Twp., PA passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026 at The Heritage of Green Hills. Born in Denver, PA, she was the daughter of Norman and the late Lydian (Drybread) Lausch. She was the wife of Carl H. Moore for 68 years.

Josephine worked most of her life as a waitress for the Shillington Restaurant and Arner’s Family Restaurant. She also worked for Weller’s Ceramics. Josephine loved riding in her Corvair, going to yard sales, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Carl, Josephine is survived by her 2 sons: Ronald Moore (Donna) and Nevin Moore (Kim); 3 brothers: Ray, Leonard, and Claire Lausch; sister: Deborah Sandburg; 5 grandchildren: Kelly Tseytlin, wife of Yan, Nicole Ledig, wife of Ahren; Abigail Moore, Vincent Moore, and James Love; and 5 great grandchildren: Elon, Liev, and Niko Tseytlin and Eloise and Alec Ledig.

She was predeceased by her brothers: Larry and Lavern Lausch.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
