Joyce E. (Wunderlich) Yergey

Joyce E. (Wunderlich) Yergey, 91, of Douglassville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Pottstown Hospital. Born in Pigeon Creek, Chester Co., PA, she was the daughter of the late Garson W. Wunderlich, Sr. and the late Coraletta L. (Dilworth) Wunderlich. She was the widow of David S. Yergey.

Joyce worked most of her life for the Daniel Boone School District as the district’s Food Service Manager. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, BINGO, country line dancing and was a member of St. Paul’s U.C.C. Amityville.

Joyce is survived by her daughters: Jodi Adamczyk and Carol Labe, wife of Garry, and sister Ann Dilliplaine.

She was predeceased by her brothers: David Wunderlich, Garson Wunderlich, Jr., and Frank Wunderlich.

The family would like to acknowledge the compassionate care that was given by the staff of the Pottstown Hospital.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
