Julius C. Taglieri

Julius C. Taglieri, 82, a longtime resident of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at The Residence at Village Greens in Sinking Spring, PA. Born in Minersville, PA, he was the son of the late Cesare and Adelina (Eramo) Taglieri. He was the loving husband of Sandra L. (Gressley) Taglieri.

Julius served our country in the U.S. Navy onboard the USS Independence. He spent most of his life as a computer analyst and consultant, mostly working for Carpenter Technologies. In his free time, he enjoyed supporting and volunteering at animal sanctuaries and rescues including the Red Creek Wildlife Center and the One By One Cat Rescue.

Surviving Julius, along with his wife Sandy, are his 3 daughters: Ann Marie Taglieri, Donna Taglieri, wife of Curt Johnson, Gina Maroney, wife of Michael; 4 sisters: Dena Shapella, Lena Sokola, Mary Bowers, and Anna Taglieri; 5 grandchildren: Mary and Matthew Maroney and Nicholas, Jake, and Cody Johnson and many nieces and nephews whom he adored. He was predeceased by his siblings: Dante Taglieri, Dora Mitchell, Carmine Taglieri, and Barbara Roesch.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00AM at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00AM -11:00AM. Burial will be later at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
