Kathleen M. (Weaver) (Fick) Miller

Kathleen M. (Weaver) (Fick) Miller, 91, of St. Lawrence, PA, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Penn State Health St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Mt. Penn, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond V. and the late Mary A. (Glass) Weaver. She was the loving wife of Thomas W. Miller.

Kathleen’s calling was always to be home raising her family. She was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies, and Penn State Nittany Lions Fan. Kathleen’s passion in life was to take care of children. It was that passion for caring for children outside of her immediate family, that she was known to many as, ‘Nanny Kay’.

She was a longtime member of Community United Church of Christ, St. Lawrence, where she was also a member of the Woman’s Guild and had been a youth Sunday School teacher. She was a member and past president of the St. Lawrence Woman’s Club. Years ago, Kathleen had been on the activities committee for the St. Lawrence Playground.

In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by her son: James Miller, widower of Stacie; 3 daughters: Cynthia Feick, Susan Thomas, wife of James, Mary L. Rollman-Conroy, wife of Brett; 3 step-sons: Thomas Miller, Jr., husband of Karen, Steven Miller, husband of Michelle, Wayne “Butch” Miller; step-daughter: Sharon “Missy” McCloughan, widow of Michael; 22 grandchildren: Jason, Robert, Franklin, Rachael, Rebekkah, Eric, Mary Elizabeth, Katie Ann, Gavin, Aden, Greyson, Jayme, TJ, Jackie, Amber, Shelby, Derrek, Taylor, Anna, Grace, and Ian; and 10 great grandchildren: John, Joey, Benji, Solomon, West, Lilly, Michael, Bailey, Micha, and Nola.

Sister-in-law: Joyce Krug, widow of Bill; brother-in-law: Major Richard Miller, husband of Frances.

She was predeceased by her first husband: Franklin W. Fick; daughter: Debra (Fick) Lucas; son: Scott F. Fick; sister: Gloria Stoudt; brother: Robert Weaver; grandson: Michael D. Rollman, and son in law: Mike Rollman.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
