Linda J. (Kollars) Friemel, 75, of Morgantown, PA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Reading Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Thomas M Kollars, Sr. and the late Jeanne G. (Johnson) Kollars. Linda was the loving wife of Elwood Friemel for 53 years.
A dedicated educator and a woman of deep faith, Linda’s life was defined by her service to others and devotion to her family. She pursued excellence in Education, earning her Master’s Degree and sharing her passion for learning as a teacher at the High Point Baptist Academy for 10 years. Linda was an active member of the Twin Valley Bible Chapel in Narvon. Her community involvement extended to the Daughters of the British Empire, and she found great joy in her hobbies. An avid reader, she poured into her grandchildren and 4th grade students through books and games. She was also known for her talent with knitting needles; she spent countless hours creating newborn baby hats and booties, as well as items for cancer patients at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She loved gardening, and the beauty of nature, and had the gift of hospitality, always welcoming others with grace and love.

Moyer, wife of Michael of Exeter Twp., PA; sister: Laurie J. Carberry of Narragansett, RI; brother: Thomas M.
