Michael Thomas Redden

Michael T. Redden, 69, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, in his home. Born in Billings, MT, he was the son of late James K. and the late Massie P. (McCall) Redden. He was the loving husband of Catharine M. (Koniers) Redden.

Michael was an independent contractor, specializing as a piano & harpsichord technician. His major contract was with Temple University School of Music, where he had an office and workshop. Michael earned a Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Michael’s passion in life was music. He was a member of the Piano Technicians Guild and he also built harpsichords. Michael enjoyed listening to music, playing the piano, harpsichord, and reading about history.

In addition to his wife Catharine, Michael is survived by his 2 sisters: Kay Sorensen, wife of Phil and Toni Wendelman, wife of Larry.

He was predeceased by his brother: Patrick K. Redden

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doctors without Borders or a charity of your choice in memory of Michael.
