Nancy L. (Moyer) Wampole

Nancy L. (Moyer) Wampole, 78, of Robeson Twp., PA passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Pauline (Hoffman) McGowen. She was the widow of her loving husband Harold J. Wampole.

Nancy was known for her work ethic, working at Giant's for 12 years. She believed in working for what you wanted. She was an example to her family through her hard work and determination. She loved her family, remembering every birthday to send a card to each grandson, granddaughter, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her friends and co-workers at Giant, the Breakfast Hut family where she and Harold dined since the day they opened their doors; and many family members whose life she touched.

She is survived by her aunt: Betty Hoffman; 3 stepdaughters: Sherry Kiline, Stacey McRae, and Shelly Neiman. Grandsons and granddaughters, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and, nephews.

Nancy was predeceased by her daughter: Michelle L. Wampole.

There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, July 11th at Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508 at 1:30pm. There will be a visitation to greet friends and relatives from 1:00pm-1:30pm.  Burial will be at the convenience of the family at St. Paul's UM Church Cemetery in Geigertown, PA.
