Penelope A. (Kline) Arnidis

Penelope A. (Kline) Arnidis, 76, of Cumru Twp., PA passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Penn State Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Born in West Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth R. and the late Kathryn I. (Glass) Kline. She was the wife of James C. Arnidis, Jr.

Penny was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School, Class of 1968. She later graduated from Chester Co. Hospital School of Nursing in 1971. She worked for 55 years as a registered nurse at the Reading Hospital in the Diagnostic Clinic and at Patient First.

She loved knitting, reading mysteries, and watching Law & Order. Her greatest enjoyment in life was watching her grandchildren play sports and “keeping score” at her grandson’s basketball games. She cherished her friends and would always reference that, it is not about the quantity of friends a person has, it’s about the quality of friendship.

In addition to her husband, James, Penny is survived by her son: Troy J. Arnidis, husband of Jessi of Atlanta, GA; daughter: Celeste Wenrich of Reading, PA; and 2 grandchildren: Morgan and Kenny.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
