Ralph J. Rapposelli, 101, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in his residence at Keystone Villa at Douglassville. Born in Birdsboro, he was the son of the late Thomas and Assunta (Ruano) Rapposelli. He was the widower of his 1st wife: Carmela “Millie” L. (Laguidara) and his 2nd wife: Leonarda “Lee” L. (Schubert/Salvatore).

Ralph was a graduate of Reading Catholic High School - Class of 1943. He served our country in World War II with the U.S. Navy Amphibious Force aboard the USSLST 548 and participated in major invasions in both European and Pacific theaters. He attained the rank of RM1C. Following his military service, he attained an Associate’s Degree in electronics from Philadelphia REI. He was employed by his uncle at Johnnie’s Radio Service in Birdsboro as an electronics and appliance technician from 1946 until 1972. He then purchased the business following his uncle’s death and continued operating it until his retirement in 1994. He served as a factory service representative for most of the major TV manufacturers - receiving factory training by all companies. Following his retirement, he continued a part time job as a TV technician with Tom’s TV for several years.

Ralph was an avid golfer playing in many leagues around Berks County and had 3 holes-in-one during his playing years. He was still playing 9 holes at least once a week at age 94. He also enjoyed bowling for many years in several leagues - mainly at Bowl-O-Rama.

He was a member of many local organizations in the area, most prominently serving for 49 years as a member of the Birdsboro Lions Club.

Ralph is survived by 2 sons: Thomas R. Rapposelli, husband of Ruth; Carl J. Rapposelli, husband of Molly; 2 daughters: Diane M. Dunn, widow of Barry; and Donna M. Hagan wife of Joseph, Jr.; daughter-in-law Patty (Kline) Rapposelli; step-son: Mark Salvatore, husband of Adriana; 2 step-daughters: Frances Jensen and Marilee Hart, wife of Michael; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 4 step-great grandchildren.

He was the last of his immediate family, predeceased by brother Joseph Rapposelli and sisters Anna Rapposelli, Marie Rapposelli and Doris DeWald. He was also predeceased by his son, Michael J. Rapposelli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11:30am at Immaculate Conception BVM Church, 905 Chestnut St. Douglassville, PA. A visitation will be held from 9:30am -11:00am at the Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Ralph was a lifetime member of the Immaculate Conception BVM Church, and requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in his memory to the Church at the above address.
