Rebecca M. Burkhart

Rebecca M. Burkhart, 96, formerly of Robeson Twp., PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the reading Hospital. Born in Brecknock Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and the late Carrie (Kochel) Burkhart.

Rebecca worked as a seamstress for David Crystal’s in Wyomissing. She spent most of her life as a farm hard helping on her family’s farm. She loved to play BINGO, and traveling in her younger years. She was a member of Robeson Lutheran Church.

Rebecca is survived by her brother: John Burkhart of Sinking Spring, PA.

She was predeceased by her sister: Erma Everhart.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026 at 11:30am at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A viewing will be from 10:30am-11:30am prior to the service. Burial will be in Robeson Cemetery.
