Robert J. Addis

Robert J. Addis, 72, of Douglassville, Amity Twp., PA, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, in the comfort of his home. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late F. Robert Addis and the late Mary Jane (Bitler) Addis. He was the loving husband of Kathy L. (Bell) Addis.

Robert worked most of his life as an Electronic Engineer for American Electronics Labs & AM Network. Robert enjoyed corvettes, bowling, Siberian Huskies, fixing VCRs, and watching NASCAR and the Phillies. He was a member of the Boyertown Corvette Club and the former MaPaw Siberian Husky Rescue.

Surviving Robert, along with his wife, Kathy, are his son: Robert J. Addis, Jr. husband of Kari of Shillington, PA; sister: Carole Haines of Palmyra, PA; and 2 granddaughters: Andria L. and Valleri J. Addis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 1:00PM at BlackJax American Pub & Grill, 668 Ben Franklin Hwy E., Birdsboro, PA 19508.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Rd. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
