Robert Sterling Brown

Robert Sterling Brown, 93, of Robeson Twp., PA, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Seyfert, PA, he was the son of the late James F. and the late Geneva (Kerper) Brown. He was the loving husband of Loretta M. (Bleacher) Brown.

Robert served our country as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. Robert worked for Buddie’s Nursery for over 60 years.

In Robert’s free time he loved to be in the garden, go fishing and hunting and being in the outdoors. He was a member of the American Legion Post 28 and a lifetime member of the Gibraltar Fire Co. and St. John’s U.C.C. Church in Gibraltar.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 2 sons: Jeffrey Brown, husband of Sheri; Douglas Brown husband of Kathleen; 2 sisters: Marlene Weikel and Janice Kochel; 4 grandchildren: Marguerite, Owen, Garrett and Josie; and 2 great-grandchildren: Chase & Emma.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers: James Brown and Curtis Brown.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 11:00am at St. John’s U.C.C. 57 St. John’s Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508. A viewing will be from 10:00am-11:00am prior to the service. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s U.C.C at the above address.
