Ronald J. Wichlacz

Ronald J. Wichlacz, 87, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Clarence J. and the late Cecilia (Koprowski) Wichlacz. He was the loving husband of Esther F. (Winings) Wichlacz for 60 years.

Ronald worked as a self-employed auto mechanic for most of his life. He was an excellent mechanic, which lead him to build a few cars and racecars. He raced at Maple Grove Raceway and was once the winner of the East Coast Championship. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was active in the American Legion Post 626.

Surviving Ronald, in addition to his wife, Esther is his daughter: Linda Baker, wife of Wayne; sister: Francine Owens; 2 grandchildren: Jennifer Weller and Lindsay Garner; and great granddaughter: Piper.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Donna Burkhart.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
