Rose-Ellen (Eisenbise) Heckrote

Rose-Ellen (Eisenbise) Heckrote, 85, of Birdsboro, Exeter Twp., PA passed away on September 16, 2026 at the Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald and the late Margaret Eisenbise. She was the wife of Donald D. Heckrote.

Rose briefly worked for Berkshire Knitting in her early years, but spent most of her life taking care of her home. Rose and Donald enjoyed camping, fishing, and just being in the outdoors together in their younger years.

Surviving Rose, in addition to her husband, Donald, is her brother: Donald Eisenbise; brother & sister-in-law: Joan and Ronald Heckrote.

She was predeceased by her brother: Richard Eisenbise.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A viewing will be from 11:30am- 1:00pm on Friday prior to the service. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.
