Sandra L. (Boyer) Mensch

Sandra L. (Boyer) Mensch, 81, of Douglassville, Amity Twp., PA passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Manatawny Manor. Born in Morysville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and the late Esther Mae (Groff) Boyer. She was the widow of Lawrence C. Mensch who passed away on 9/21/2025.

Sandy worked most of her life in Housekeeping. She was employed by the Holiday Inn in Pottstown, PA and the Daniel Boone School District until retirement. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling. Sandy was a member of the Monarch and Amity Fire Companies and St. Paul’s U.C.C in Amityville.

Sandy is survived by her daughter: Penny Lauer, wife of Steve; son: Thomas Orrs, husband of Amy; 2 step-sons: Michael Mensch, husband of Mary Kay and Edward Mensch, husband of Mila; sister: Carole Barbary; and 8 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son: Allen Orrs and brother: Harold “Butch” Boyer.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 11:00AM at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A viewing will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Amityville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s U.C.C., 1979 Weavertown Rd., Douglassville, PA 19518.
