Stephen C. Hicks

Stephen C. Hicks, 63, of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, he was the son of Max E. Hicks and Joyce “Jodie” A. (Dodd) Halsey, wife of Walter.

Stephen served our country in the U.S. Navy. He worked at the Limerick Nuclear Generation Plant as a Chemist. Stephen was a member of the Birdsboro Nazarene Church, where he volunteered at their Clothing Closet and Bible Studies. He enjoyed drinking a good IPA beer, collecting drinking glasses, baseball caps, fishing, vacationing with family and doing puzzles.

In addition to his parents and his step-father, Stephen is survived by his sister: Susan L. Wilson, wife of William “Cy” and his niece and nephew: Alexandra and Zachary Wilson.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 3:00PM at the Birdsboro Nazarene Church, 715 E. 3rd St. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
