Steven J. Pauley, II

Steven J. Pauley, II, 43, of Douglassville, PA, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of Steven J. Pauley, husband of Wendy, and Diane K. (Weinman) Pennington, wife of Jack. He was the loving husband of Erika R. (Hartman) Pauley.

Steven graduated from Muhlenberg High School Class of 2001, where he loved to play football. He went on to graduate from Millersville University earning his bachelor’s degree. Steve was employed as an Accountant for SEI for almost 20 years. He was a proud Eagle Scout and a Den Leader for Cub Scout Troop 595, and a member of St. Paul’s UCC Amityville, where he also taught Sunday School. Steve loved bowling, fishing, scouts, golf, and was a big Philly sports fan. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his kids and family.

In addition to his parents and his wife Erika, Steve is survived by his son: Jayce Pauley; daughters: Kenzie and Emma Pauley; and his sisters: Melissa Gehman and Karis Pennington.

He was predeceased by his grandparents: Bruce and Doris Weinman and Leo and Ruth Pauley.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Paul’s UCC, 1979 Weavertown Rd. Douglassville, PA 19518. A visitation will be from 9:30am-11:00am at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s UCC at the above address.
