It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terenda "Terry" (Davidheiser) Ojea.
Terenda passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family asks that you remember Terenda not by the cancer she fought so bravely for 15 years, but by the love she gave so freely as a daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and to all those whose lives she has touched. Let us remember the beautiful woman with the fiery spirit she carried before.
Terenda was known for her warm heart, unwavering strength, dedication to her family, and her generous spirit. Throughout her life, she had a gift for finding a child she could befriend. Despite her struggles, she made sure her little friends always had special gifts for every holiday. She found joy in spending time with family and her sweet pup Baby. Terenda also loved antiquing, thrifting, and listening to country music. In addition, she had a great flair for decorating. But most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Surviving Terenda are her mother: Winifred Davidheiser, of Birdsboro; her daughter: Melissa, wife of Jeffrey Johnson, of Birdsboro; Granddaughters: Tressa Row of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Winnie Miller of Birdsboro. She is also survived by her sister: Marcie, wife of Stephen C. Mammarella, Royersford; and niece: Mia, wife of Nathan Miller, Robeson Township.
She is predeceased by her father: Raymond Davidheiser, whom she adored and nephew: Stephen A. Mammarella.
The family also expresses its sincerest gratitude to Nick Leasure, MD and his staff at McGlinn Cancer Center, and to Terenda’s cousin Sharon Walters for her loving care during Terenda’s final months.
