Thomas P. Geyer

Thomas P. Geyer, 97, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away on January 26, 2026 in his son’s residence, with whom he resided the last few years. Born in Birdsboro, PA, he was the son of the late Edwin S. Geyer and the late Beulah F. (Painter) Geyer. He was the widower of Eleanor J. (Grimes) Geyer, who passed in 2022.

Tom retired from Doehler-Jarvis in Pottstown, PA, last working as a Quality Inspector. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and spending vacations in the Outer Banks. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family. He was a member of the former Alice Focht United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his daughter: Nancy L. Diefenderfer, wife of Eugene; son: Thomas F. Geyer, husband of Lois; 5 grandchildren: Jason Diefenderfer, Olivia Mitchell, Margaret Murry, April McAlpin, and Charles Oxenford, III; and 11 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Marjorie Oxenford; brothers: Richard and Edwin Geyer; sisters: Jean Zeller and Nancy Rothharpt; grandson: Kevin Diefenderfer; and son-in-law: Charles Oxenford, II.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 10:30am at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A visitation will be from 10:00am to 10:30am at the funeral home, prior to the service.
