V. Dawn (Ayres) Chappie

V. Dawn (Ayres) Chappie, 83, of Exeter Twp., PA, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Reading Hospital. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna (Trego) Ayres. She was the widow of Paul M. Chappie.

Dawn worked for many years as a seamstress and retiring from GRACO in Morgantown, PA. She volunteered often at the Glenmoore Salvation Army, loved sewing, gardening, and spending time at the beach.

Dawn is survived by her son: Paul M. Chappie. Jr., 2 sisters: Doris Coffey and Pauline Raser; and grandson: Dustin Capes.

She was predeceased by her 2 daughters: Jackie Capes and Theresa Raser; and brother: Raymond Ayres, Jr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
