Victoria A. Uhniat

Victoria Alexandra "Vicky" Uhniat, 48, passed away on June 24, 2025, in Reading, PA. She was born on May 19, 1977, in Harrisburg, PA to Gloria (nee Maroney) and the late Peter A. Uhniat, Jr.

Vicky was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School, Class of 1995. She later pursuit higher education at Albright College, studying English and Economics; and minoring in Photography. She furthered her education at Villanova University studying Finance and Economics.

Her career started at Bell Atlantic Mobile as Sales Operation Specialist and advanced to a Retail Sales Representative for Verizon Wireless. She served as a crew member at Vanguard, holding positions as a Client Relationship Associate, Client Relationship Administrator, and eventually a Project Administrator. She later worked for SEI as a Reconciliation Analyst. Of her career, her most cherished job was working for Laura Ashley. She loved to help individuals decorate their homes.

Surviving is her mother, Gloria; brother Adam and his wife Melissa, Reading, PA; half-brother David E. Meyer and his wife Jane, Raleigh, NC. Aunt Pauline Chafin and husband Jim, Holiday, FL; Aunt Peggy Fagan Mastenbrook and husband Matt, Nashville, TN; Cousin Brittany L. Uhniat, Nashville, TN; her beloved friend Franko Roman, Royersford, PA; and many cousins, work colleagues, and friends.

She was preceded by her father Peter, Jr.; grandmother Nellie; grandfather Peter, Sr.; her uncle Gregory; her maternal grandmother Genevieve; her grandfather Thomas; her uncles Tommy and Edward; and her beloved dogs Archie; and Reggie.

A celebration of life will be held until 7:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC., 144 N. Spruce Street, Birdsboro, PA. A visitation will be held from 5:00pm-6:00pm, with the service to follow at 6:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Vicky.
