Virginia B. (Buck) DeFresco

Virginia B. (Buck) DeFresco, 91, of Birdsboro, PA passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Penn State Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Born in Birdsboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late G. Raymond and the late Alice L. (Glass) Buck. She was the widow of Anthony Morris DeFresco, who died in 2007. 

 Virginia worked as a seamstress for the former Yocum Knitting in Stowe, PA. She was a member of St. Paul’s UCC in Birdsboro where she was also a member of the Women’s Club. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and knitting.

Surviving Virginia are her 2 daughters: Ann Marie Stuart, wife of Brian of Ajax, Ontario, Debra L. Wiechardt, wife of William of Lewes, DE; son: Jeffrey S. Buck of Birdsboro, PA; grandchildren: Tyler and Cara, and Allison; and great granddaughter: Indiana.

 She was predeceased by her brother: Carl Buck.

 A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00AM at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM prior to the services. Burial will be in Birdsboro Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to St Paul’s UCC 300 W. 1st St. Birdsboro, PA 19508.
