Wayne Gaugler

Wayne Gaugler, 76, of Douglassville, Union Twp., PA, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Pottstown Hospital. Born in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Charles J. and the late Bertha (Lick) Gaugler.

Wayne worked for the former Stanley G. Flagg, Co. in Pottstown, PA and later as a maintenance worker for Klein Transportation in Douglassville. He also volunteered with the Monarch Fire Police and enjoyed working on lawn mowers.

Surviving Wayne are his former wife: JoAnne (Reightneour) Pauley; step-son: Keith Ketterer, husband of Karen (O’Brien); step-daughter: Kelly (Ketterer) Ash, wife of James; 4 step-grandchildren: Kayla and Kolby Ketterer and Ronald Ayers, Jr. and Nicholas Biagianti.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:30am at the Dengler-Sowers Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. 144 N. Spruce St. Birdsboro, PA 19508. A visitation will be from 10:30am-11:30am at the funeral home prior to the service.
